KOP 10 FOWLER MOMENTS Liverpoolfc.tv 31 October 2007
	As Robbie Fowler prepares to make an emotional return to Anfield with Cardiff City we take a look back at 10 of his most memorable moments.
1. Four-minute hat-trick This was the afternoon a young Fowler wrote himself into the record books with a phenomenal scoring achievement. Kopites basked in the early season sun as Liverpool's newest striking sensation emphatically reaffirmed his mantle as one of the hottest goal-poachers in the game by scoring the fastest ever Premiership hat-trick against a shell-shocked Arsenal defence. 2. Supporting the Dockers Fowler never forgot his roots and in March 1997 famously went public with his support for the Merseyside Dockers during a European Cup Winners Cup tie against Brann Bergen. A hot political issue at the time, the 'Growler' helped put the plight of the 500 sacked Dockers on the map when, after netting at the Kop end, he proudly pulled up his top to reveal a t-shirt supporting those who had been fired. He was later fined 2,000 Swiss Francs by UEFA who stated that their regulations prohibit players from displaying any political logos at matches. 3. The famous five In the autumn of 1993, 18-year old Robbie breezed into the Liverpool first team like a breath of fresh air and confirmed his arrival on the big stage with a stunning five-goal demolition of Fulham in the 2nd leg of a 2nd round Coca Cola Cup tie at Anfield. The Reds had been struggling for goals until the then boss Graeme Souness unleashed his highly-rated rookie and it paid off handsomely as Fowler became only the fourth player in the club's history to score five in one game. A star was born. 4. Honest a God Controversy seemed to follow Fowler during the late '90s but on this occasion he hit the headlines for all the right reasons and earned himself a UEFA Fair Play award in the process after admitting that he had not been fouled by Arsenal keeper David Seaman after a penalty had been awarded at Highbury. His honesty could have proved costly for Liverpool but goals from Collymore and McAteer ensured everyone was a winner. 5. Singing the Blues Robbie loved nothing better than putting one over our Mersey rivals and the club he supported as a boy. In 17 games he netted a total of six goals and it all started in March 1994 when he struck the winner in what was to be the last derby in front of a standing Kop. He'd just come back from a two-month lay-off with a broken ankle but returned with a bang, racing onto a through ball from John Barnes and firing past Neville Southall. 6. The second coming To say the Kop was pleased to welcome Robbie back to the club following his time away at Leeds and Manchester City would be a gross understatement. Talk of him returning had occasionally popped up in the sports pages but was always shrugged off as pure fabrication. Until January 2006 that is when Liverpool's prodigal son sensationally returned to a hero's reception. His free transfer capture from City delighted everyone of a Red persuasion and Fowler himself admitted it was a dream come true. 7. Upstaging Cantona On what should have been Eric Cantona's big day, the 'Toxteth Terror' stole the show on a memorable Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford. Having been out the game for nine months following his infamous kung-fu attack, Cantona made a much-hyped return against the Reds and managed to net a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw. However, the abiding memory of this game will always be Robbie's perfectly-executed brace of goals. 8. UEFA Cup Final goal Fowler shrugged off the disappointment of being omitted from the starting eleven for Liverpool's first European final in 15 years and almost emerged the hero. Midway through the second half he came off the bench with the score tied at 3-3 and made an immediate impact, restoring the Reds lead with a sublime solo effort. Unfortunately, Alaves amazing hit back with a last-gasp equaliser but the treble was secured thanks Delfin Geli's golden own goal and Robbie had more than played his part. 9. We've won it five times Even when he wasn't wearing Liverpool colours, Robbie could still be relied upon to wind up our major rivals and put a smile on Liverpudlian faces. Despite his royal blue upbringing, there was no doubting his status as a rabid red and whenever the opportunity arose he'd take great delight in reminding Manchester United supporters of how many European Cups we've won. Just in case they'd forgotten, obviously. 10. The final goodbye On 13 May 2007 'God' bid the Kop an emotional final farewell when he graced the hallowed turf of Anfield one last time. Charlton Athletic were the visitors and everyone was willing him to score. Sadly, there was to be no fairy-tale ending ?he was substituted just minutes before the Reds were awarded a penalty ?but that was quickly forgotten when he embarked on an emotionally-charged lap of honour with his four kids at the end. The entire ground stood as one to applaud and an unprecedented display of adulation swept down from the stands to salute a true Liverpool legend.

	Jamie Carragher has spoken of his deep appreciation for the role Robbie Fowler played in helping him to adjust to life in the Liverpool first-team and admitted that he still calls him 'God' to this day.
The Reds vice-captain could come face-to-face with his former teammate when Liverpool entertain Cardiff in the Carling Cup tonight and Carragher admits that Fowler was a fantastic role model for him when he first broke on to the scene at Melwood. "I remember getting into the team and Robbie and Steve McManaman were the two main men and Robbie's nickname at the time was 'God' - I still call him 'God' now to be honest," said Carragher. "Just to train with players like those two was great for me and I learned loads from them. It was important for the likes of me, Michael Owen, Danny Murphy, Steven Gerrard and David Thompson to have players to look up to and with Robbie and Stevie Mac being local lads as well as top players I suppose it was natural that we looked up to them." Carragher has developed into one of Europe's finest defenders in the past few years and although there are a number of reasons behind his continued improvement, he believes training with Fowler every day, back when he was a rookie teenager, helped him to learn a great deal in a short amount of time. "When you train with someone as good as Robbie you have to be at your best all the time or he'll just make a fool of you," said Carragher. "You couldn't afford any slips with him around because the ball would inevitably end up in the back of the net. "But that helped me. It meant I quickly learned what the standards were and that help turn me into a better player. "As a defender it was great to train with Robbie because there really was no one better at that time ?Alan Shearer was the other one who sticks out in your mind from that era ?and that meant I had to be at my best. "So Robbie was a great help to me but not just on the park. Both he and Stevie Mac were great for us young lads at the time because they had been through it all so they could give us a bit of advice here and there and encourage us when we needed it." Since leaving Anfield in the summer Fowler has made an impressive start to his Cardiff career, notching six goals in 12 appearances, and although he may not be the player he once was, Carragher is in no doubt that he is the best finisher he has ever played with. "I've been fortunate enough to mix with a lot of top strikers but as a pure finisher Robbie was definitely the best," he insists. "He could score with his left foot, his right foot, his head, from inside the box, outside the box, from free kicks, penalties, you name it he could do it. "He was just a natural finisher and he made it look so easy. "I'm looking forward to having a good chat with him if I'm playing, although I don't know about talking to him during the game. "I can remember marking him when he was at Leeds and he was talking to me all the way through the game but I'm not really into that. It's just a bit weird. "Even though Robbie is a mate of mine I still look up to him because of everything he has achieved in the game. "It's good to see him doing well at Cardiff because he's a great lad but I hope he doesn't do quite so well tonight."

	Robbie Fowler can't wait to run out in front of the Kop tonight and admits Anfield will always be his spiritual home.
The Toxteth predator returns to Liverpool with Cardiff City for the Carling Cup 4th round clash and the striker said he can't wait to play on the hallowed turf once again. "I am expecting a great reception from the Liverpool supporters, they have always been fantastic to me and I don't see any reason why that should change," said Fowler. "It is like going home when I get there. I will have a lot of friends and family to watch me there so I am hoping it will be a good night for everybody. "It will be nice to see everyone, but we have a job to do there and I am going to give it my all to see Cardiff do the business. "I have been back before with Leeds and Manchester City so it will not be too weird for me. Once the whistle goes for the kick-off, I will be concentrating on putting in a good performance for myself and to help the whole side. "If I score that would be fantastic, this is all about football and the Liverpool fans love their football so they all know how the situation works. "It is a big game for the Cardiff fans and I think there will be a lot there, so it should be a really good atmosphere and I want to give them something to cheer about. "If we can put in a performance we can get the result we want. If we can get something positive in this game, I think it could act as a real spark with our league form. "We are going into the game as underdogs really, but I know we will be giving it our all ?like we always do."

	A pair of Dirk Kuyt penalties gave Liverpool a 2-1 victory in an incredible Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.
A bizarre own goal from Sami Hyypia gave the Blues a half-time lead, but two second-half spot kicks ?including one in stoppage time ?ensured a dramatic return to winning ways for Rafa Benitez's side. Everton ended the game with nine men, Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville both seeing red for their penalty offences. Neville wrote in his programme notes how he'd seen everything in Merseyside derbies. He spoke too soon. The Reds kicked off their 22nd lunchtime fixture in just over two years without injured trio Daniel Agger, Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso. The hosts, meanwhile, were without last season's match-winners Andy Johnson and Tim Cahill. The travelling Kop began the game in high spirits despite the recent dip, throwing around balloons made from Tesco bags ?a cheeky swipe at Everton's new stadium plans. The first chance fell to their boys on five minutes when derby debutant Yossi Benayoun ghosted in behind the Blues' backline before teeing up Andriy Voronin, whose low shot was blocked by the legs of Tim Howard. Everton were seeing more of the ball, but it was Liverpool, with Gerrard playing more centrally than the teamsheet suggested, who were playing the better football. Voronin and Benayoun, in particular, were taking up some great positions between the lines. It took Everton 22 minutes to threaten, Leon Osman capitalising on a loose ball from Javier Mascherano before forcing Pepe Reina into a fingertip clearance. Yakubu had a gilt-edged chance on the half-hour mark ?but his attempted scissor-kick from the edge of the six-yard box was akin to taking a chainsaw to a twig. Still, the home side were starting to get into their stride. Minutes later Victor Anichebe headed narrowly over from close range. The nearest Liverpool game to breaking the deadlock in the first half came on 34 minutes when John Arne Riise hit a low drive from 35 yards. Unfortunately, a wicked deflection sent it narrowly wide. Then disaster struck when, amid a goalmouth scramble, Hyypia's mis-hit clearance hit the roof of the net. A more bizarre own goal you're not likely to see this season. It was the first time a Red had scored an OG against the Blues since Neil Ruddock in 1997. It was Everton who started the second half the brighter, but within seven minutes the game was turned on its head. Voronin sent Gerrard racing clear, the skipper making his way into the box before being hauled down by Hibbert. Mark Clattenburg had no hesitation in awarding a spot kick and giving the Everton right-back his marching orders. Up stepped Kuyt, who tucked coolly into the left-hand corner of Howard's goal to record his first league goal of the season. Game on. Everton had a penalty shout of their own just seconds later when Lescott appeared to be obstructed by Steve Finnan. The game was really starting the open up, and Riise should have put Liverpool into the lead on 57 minutes when Kuyt cut a fantastic ball in from the right. Next Voronin forced a fine save from Howard from seven yards. Yakubu hit a powerful snap-shot just wide from distance on 66 minutes ?though Pepe Reina looked to have it covered. With the match finely balanced Rafa Benitez shuffled his pack, replacing Benayoun with Ryan Babel and, to the surprise on many, giving Lucas his derby debut at the expense of Gerrard. The young Brazilian had big shoes to fill but he made a great start when he fed Voronin clean through down the left. Sadly, the Ukrainian dragged his shot harmlessly wide. Minutes later Momo Sissoko really should have bagged his second goal in a red shirt after finding himself with acres inside the box. He won't want to watch his left-footed effort on Match of the Day this evening. By this stage it was all Liverpool but chance after chance went begging ?until Lucas hit a fantastic stoppage time shot which Neville dived to palm off the line. Kuyt hit the same spot with his pen and the travelling Kop ?as well as Stevie G on the sidelines ?went wild. A late penalty call for a Jamie Carragher indiscretion nearly silenced them - but thankfully it's the Fields of Anfield Road which will be echoing around Stanley Park tonight.

星期天探爺爺又好似真係好耐無上過去睇佢地
尖咀 2間adidas遊似去見朋友多過去買野間間都識既間間都話要單第時買野有排分數
夜晚同老媽子上去堔圳俾人dup完一身鬆晒

星期一是日在家溫書 + 處理業務公司太多野做連我的波衫都搞少左哼!
